Terms of Service

By using Sheen you agree to these terms. If you don't agree — don't use the app.

1. Parties

This agreement is between you (the "User") and an individual — Bazarbayev Abylay (IIN 990707350094), Republic of Kazakhstan (the "Operator", "we").

2. What Sheen is

Sheen is a mobile application that analyzes your appearance using AI. It lets you:

Take a quiz about yourself and your appearance goals.
Upload a selfie and get scores across several dimensions.
Receive personalized recommendations, daily tips and quests.
Track your improvement progress over time.

3. Age restriction

Sheen is intended for users aged 16 and older. By signing up, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.

If you discover that a person under 16 has signed up, email support@sheen.style — we'll remove the account.

4. Account

You can start using the app anonymously. To sync between devices and persist progress, you link an email, Google or Apple identity.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
One person may create only one account. Multiple accounts may be removed.
You can delete your account at any time via app settings.

5. Acceptable use

Using Sheen, you agree not to:

Upload another person's selfie without their consent.
Upload images that are not real selfies (fakes, third-party photos, images of children).
Use the app for discrimination, harassment or unlawful activity.
Bypass technical protections, reverse-engineer or copy the service.
Resell access to the app or its API.
Create bots that interact with the service automatically.

Violating these rules can lead to account suspension without refund.

6. Subscriptions and payments

The basic Sheen feature set is free.
Premium features (full analysis results, Coach Ask Shay, unlimited scans) are available on a Sheen Premium subscription.
Plans and periods:
- Weekly — 4,990 ₸ per week, with a 3-day free trial.
- Annual — 19,990 ₸ per year.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID / Google account upon purchase confirmation.
The subscription auto-renews at the same price for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your App Store / Google Play settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription (Apple standard).

Prices may change. We will give advance notice of changes. The current price and terms are always shown on the subscription purchase screen in the app.
This page (Terms of Service / EULA) and the Privacy Policy apply to subscriptions.

7. Intellectual property

Sheen, its code, design, copy and icons are the Operator's property and protected by copyright.
Selfies and data you upload remain yours. You grant the Operator a limited license to process them solely to deliver the service (see Privacy Policy).
AI analysis results are derivative of your data and provided to you for personal use.

8. Disclaimer

Sheen is an entertainment and motivation service. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose anything, and does not replace consultations with a dermatologist, psychologist or other professional. Base decisions about your health, appearance or lifestyle on professional advice, not on app scores.

AI models can be wrong. We do not guarantee the accuracy of analysis results.

9. Service changes

We may add, change or remove features and discontinue support for older app versions. We will give advance notice of material changes.

10. Termination

You can stop using Sheen at any time by deleting your account.
We may suspend or close your account on breach of these terms — with notice where reasonably possible.
On account closure, any remaining paid subscription period is non-refundable unless required by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for:

Indirect, incidental or punitive damages.
Loss of data, profits or business opportunities.
Decisions you make based on AI analysis results.

The Operator's total liability for any claims is limited to the amount you actually paid for your subscription in the last 12 months.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes are subject to the courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Operator's place of residence.

For EU users — mandatory rules of the user's country of residence apply.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the new version.
