Children's Privacy
1. Age limit
The minimum age to register in Sheen is 16. We ask for age in the quiz, and users who indicate a younger age cannot proceed with the app.
2. If a child has registered
If you are a parent or guardian and learned that a child under 16 registered in Sheen without consent:
- Email support@sheen.style with the subject "Child account".
- Include the child's email or account ID (if known).
- We will delete the account and all associated data within 7 business days after we verify the request.
3. How we verify age
Sheen relies on self-declared age at sign-up. We do not request identification documents, but we reserve the right to block an account if there is reasonable suspicion the user is under 16.
4. US users (COPPA)
Sheen is a general-audience service not directed at children under 13 (the COPPA threshold in the USA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it. Under the updated COPPA (2025), biometric data of children under 13 is treated as personal data and is not collected. Our own bar — 16 years — is stricter than COPPA, so there is no conflict.
